It's a BOY!

Thanks for all the girl vibes everyone, but looks like I'm a mama for BOYS!
I have to say, although I wanted a girl, I'm a bit relieved! Boys are what I know and what I'm used to. This will be a piece of cake...I hope.

Godson Wknd

I babysat (although they're not little anymore) the Godson girls over the wknd. They're growing up too fast. I can't say it was the best wknd of my life, but I can say it was filled with some fun, some frustration, wild neighborhood kids running soaking wet thru the house, short relaxing moments, lots of dirty towels, much chaos, and few moments of total control.
Heather took their pics for Father's Day. Took me 3 hours to do their hair and and makeup. Turned out really cute. Was worth it.

Averi, Laurin, Keali, and Devin
Few of my favorite pics...Devin
...Keali
Of course, we made crafts. You can't see the hooks poking out, but they're jewelry hangers. Brayden would only wear a life jacket if Averi wore one too
Braxton carried around this Ukelele and sang his song all wknd. Not sure what song it was.

Devin - the sweet helper
Averi - the youngest...enough said

30 Things you might not know about me...

1. I love Vitamin Water- Citrus flavor the best...and no hfcs!
2. No one makes me laugh harder or feel better about myself than Jeremy
3. I hate long fingernails
4. Growing up, my friend and I would squish blackberries with our hands and make jam. Then we'd try to sell it around the neighborhood. No one ever bought any. Smart neighbors!
4. If I have a girl, I want to name her Adelyn, but call her Addie for short
5. I still color with crayons on coloring books in church on Sundays [Good thing I have kids to disguise it]
6. It takes me longer to choose an outfit to wear than it does to put makeup on and style my hair
7. I love to clean and organize
8. I could sew all day long
9. Flipping on trampolines makes me feel like a little kid again
10. I sold my first painting for $600 ...actually the only painting I've sold :) so far!
11. When I was little, I watched an episode of Full House where Kimmy Gibbler tried to glue her eyes open so she could stay up all night. I thought it seemed like a good idea so I tried it.
12. I hate cats
13. When a dog licks me, I get extremely grossed out
14. I still have dreams I can fly around
15. As archaic as it was, I miss the house I grew up in
16. Babe is in my top 5 favorite movies
17. I pray for my Dad often
18. I love to camp, fish, and shoot
19. When I was 16, a friend let me park her car. My flip flop got stuck on the gas pedal and I almost drove through her house
20. My hair used to be naturally pin straight- each kid I have it gets wavier and wavier
21. No juice is more delicious to me than orange juice
22. I sometimes have attitude
23. I make up a song in my head almost everyday, but never write it down

Spuratic camping trip

Nothing to do last wknd and the memorial day crowds had past, so we went on a last minute camping trip down in Young. Same spot we went last yr, but everything went much more smooth this time. Glad we went.
Storm clouds all around us and it has been raining the past 2 wks, but we went anyway. Lucky for us, it sprinkled a little, but no major rain storm- just beautiful weather....and 2 pretty rainbows.
Jeremy set up the good old Springbar tent that has been in the fam for 35 years! Wow. Time to get a new one; but this bad boy is so heavy duty it's still going strong. Lots of sun damage as you can tell, but still keeps us warm and dry :)
Brayden looks like a caterpillar in a cacoon
I would have slept better if Braxton stayed in his own cott, but of course he had to sleep in my sleeping bag the whole night - kicking and pushing. Oh, the sacrafices we make for our children! :) Next time, I'm bringing the playpin!
Tried out our new Go-Kots and boy does it make camping a whole lot nicer. I'll never go camping again without one. Great quality!
Got the boys to bed and enjoyed the campfire. Good thing it had been raining or we wouldn't have been able to start one - the fire warning has been extreme for a month now!
Boys woke up early and had fun running around
Beautiful morning. Not too cold.
Dad made pancakes!!!

Wild strawberry patch
Back to the fish hatchery
One flopped out just as we walked around the corner. Jeremy saved his life!
Beautiful morning
Took a drive a few miles further down some dirt road and found a nice creek on some gorgeous land. The most amazing part was that it was so secluded.
